This online training is what I needed to understand the scientific field better and to become aware of some of most important dry lab skills out there in the field of biology including coding, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and next generation sequencing data analysis.

The course was beautifully organised going from the basics to more complex topics. The course was taught by various scientists themselves who have great professional experience in the skills they taught us, which was very inspiring.

The training began with the 15-day coding module which taught the basics of coding for biology. This was followed by the 30-day bioinformatics module which helped in understanding the entire bioinformatics field in-depth along with all necessary skillset in the area. This was followed by the topic of hype, namely the AI/ML in biology (30-day training) which laid the foundation in understanding AI generally and that which is used in the biology field. Finally, the NGS data analysis module for 30 days was an important one that can't be missed in the age of exploding biological data. They also integrated a brief Biostatistics module to teach the important principles of understanding and handling data.

To sum it up, each module laid a base to understand the next module and this training has given me such a valuable experience and skillset which will be extremely useful in my career.

For all those looking to upskill yourself with the most in-demand skills in biology in the dry lab area, this is your go-to training with the best mentors in field.

I had a great session and gained deep insights into data science and its role in bioinformatics. As a first‑year B.Tech Biotechnology student, I found the curriculum and associated content challenging to cope with at times. I would like to put forward a suggestion that the content be made a bit easier for students like me (first‑years) to comprehend better. A few of the concepts were rushed through with the assumption that we were already aware of them, but the fact is we have just stepped into this journey and don’t have much knowledge about this field as of now.
