The program will be conducted by the master bioinformatics professional Dr Farhan Zameer sir who will provide guidance and support throughout the internship. Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion from Biotecnika.

Bioinformatics is the application of computational techniques to the analysis of biological data, such as DNA and protein sequences, gene expression data, and protein structures. Some common bioinformatics tools and techniques include:

• Sequence alignment: Aligning and comparing different DNA or protein sequences to identify similarities and differences.
• Phylogenetic analysis: Reconstructing evolutionary relationships between species based on DNA or protein sequence data.
• Genome assembly: Putting together the fragmented pieces of a genome to create a complete genome sequence.

• Function prediction: Inferring the likely function of a gene or protein based on its sequence and structure.

The recording of the sessions will be available for five days post-completion of the internship. So you can go back and refer to the recordings, but make sure you do not miss the live sessions and take maximum benefit from it.
