About the Speakers:

Dr. Debanjan S Kundu 

Dr. Debanjan Kundu finished his PhD studies from the School of Biochemical  Engineering, IIT (BHU). Currently, he is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, USA. His primary interest is Protein Folding, Misfolding, Protein Biochemistry, Lipids and Drug Metabolism. In a broader sense, applied Medical Biotechnology. He wishes to be in academics in future, mainly doing research in the fields mentioned above. He loves mentoring students, interacting with juniors and helping them in finding their way into the world of research and academics.

Dr Satarupa Maitra 

Dr. Satarupa Maitra holds a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi. Her doctoral research was centered on studying the protein trafficking pathways in Plasmodium falciparum, a significant focus in the field of molecular biology and parasitology. This research highlights her expertise and contributions to understanding the biology of this parasite, which is responsible for malaria.

Dr. Tanushree Saxena 

Dr. Tanushree Saxena, a Ph.D. holder in Biotechnology from The IIS University, Jaipur, has a rich academic and research background. She served as a Research Assistant at the Birla Institute of Scientific Research and later as a Lecturer at the Apex Institute of Management and Science in Jaipur. With a strong research portfolio, Dr. Saxena has successfully managed multiple research projects, authored research articles and book chapters, and mentored both postgraduate and undergraduate students during summer training and dissertation programs.

Her academic achievements are further emphasized by the prestigious DAAD fellowship she received for a summer school at Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany. Dr. Saxena's remarkable career is underscored by her numerous awards for paper presentations at both national and international conferences, and her consistent top performance in her academic qualifications.

Mrs Divya S 

Mrs. Divya S, A master in Biotechnology from Roland Institute of  Pharmaceutical  Sciences, Berhampur, Odisha. She has cleared CSIR NET (20th rank) and worked as a project fellow at Kerala University, Trivandrum. She is very much passionate about her work. She has a steady-state of motivation that drives her to do her best. Mrs Divya believes in self-motivation and also try to boost up her students.
